Cruel Competition

A student at a high school in the town was injured when a science experiment turned into a chemical fire, sending the student to the hospital. The student was treated for burns to the face and arms, but luckily he will be released before the end of the day. Police said the accident occurred when a chemical reaction caused a flash fire of about three to five seconds.
